Gov't Mule

After buying my first Gov't Mule CD "High and Mighty" and enjoying it very much, I decided to take the chance to see them in my "home arena" the Longhorn in Stuttgart-Wangen. I was a bit surprised that the venue was very crowded. That was one problem during the whole gig. The crowded venue and lots of people just standing there with the back to the stage and talking to each other. Maybe a consequence of the many very long guitar solos (which I normally enjoy). I would have preferred a seated venue to listen to the excellent music. They played very long and most of the material of High and Mighty. Some of the other songs are not that good in my opinion, but that can be only my feeling because the many and always very long guitar solos made many of the songs sound the same. But all in one a very good concert.
